Excessive hair growth, or hirsutism, is a common condition that affects many people, particularly women. It is characterized by the growth of coarse, dark hair in areas where hair growth is typically minimal or absent, such as the face, chest, and back. While excessive hair growth is not usually a serious medical condition, you can choose to get rid of them for aesthetic reasons.

Ingrown hairs occur when a hair curls back and grows into the skin instead of out of it. They can occur anywhere on the body where hair grows but are most common in areas that are frequently shaved or waxed, such as the face, neck, armpits, legs, and pubic area.


Ingrown hairs can be uncomfortable and unsightly, and may even become infected.
