Dermatology

Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a common skin condition that causes small, rough bumps on the skin, usually on the arms, thighs, cheeks, or buttocks. It is often referred to as ''chicken skin'' due to the appearance of the bumps. KP occurs when there is a build-up of keratin, a protein that protects the skin from infections and other harmful elements, within hair follicles.
